Jean-Sébastien is passionate about climbing and, more generally, about all outdoor activities. To him, nature offers an infinite range of possibilities for playing outside, whether alone or with friends.
He loves guiding groups of children of all ages in outdoor activities. His enthusiasm for outdoor animation began while he was a canoe-camping expedition instructor at Camp Air-Eau-Bois. He continues this passion by leading expeditions for secondary school field trips, actively participating in the Outaouais Climbing School project, and serving as the Coordinator of Outdoor Experiences at Relais Plein Air in Gatineau Park.
For him, guiding people of all ages outdoors is not just pure joy, but also a way to pass on his environmental values and affection for nature. His master’s studies focused on the importance of nature contact for children and adolescents, giving him a deep understanding of this connection. You can talk to him about it, or, more likely, about climbing—either way, he will be happy to chat outdoors with a smile on his face.
