Cancellation and Refund Policy
By completing your registration on our booking platform, you agree to the terms of this cancellation and refund policy.
Registration Processing Fees:
A non-refundable amount of 10% of the total activity cost is charged as registration processing fees, regardless of the situation.
Cancellation by the Outaouais Climbing School:
In case of cancellation by the school due to weather or lack of participants, we prioritize rescheduling the activity to a later date. If the activity cannot be rescheduled within the same season, the client has the choice between:
- A full refund, excluding the registration processing fees.
- A credit for the same activity in the next season, unaffected by any increase in value.
Cancellation by the Client:
- More than 14 days before the activity: Free date change or full refund (minus the registration processing fees).
- Between 7 and 13 days before the activity: Free date change or 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before the activity: No refund, and a $100 administrative fee will be applied for a date change (these fees may be waived upon presentation of a medical certificate justifying the inability to participate in the activity or other proof of a force majeure event).
Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Inherent Risks:
Following your registration, no later than 2 weeks before your activity, you will receive an information email with all the details about it. Additionally, it will include a form for acknowledging and accepting the inherent risks of the activity. By completing your registration on our booking platform, you commit to duly completing this form before the activity; otherwise, your participation will be refused without any possible refund.
This policy does not apply to school and corporate groups. Please contact the Outaouais Climbing School regarding applicable policies for school and corporate groups.
We encourage our clients to carefully plan their bookings while offering the necessary flexibility to respond to unforeseen circumstances.
